The engineer-physicist is engaged in researches and workings out in the field of practical application of physical knowledge. Depending on the received specialization can be engaged:

Thermophysics (to investigate hydrodynamic processes to solve environmental problems to be engaged in use, including geothermal heat),
N uclear physics etc.

Can be engaged in designing of devices, devices and experimental installations for physical researches, for example, for registration ionizing and unionizing in the field of nuclear physics. Develops modern technologies and technological processes, for example, receptions of new materials in a burning mode (self-extending high-temperature synthesis) or creations of composite materials (polymeric, carbon, metal).

Obligatory knowledge

Fundamental laws of area of physics of an atomic nucleus and the particles, the condensed condition of substance, ecology in volume sufficient for an independent combination and synthesis of real ideas, creative self-expression; the fundamental phenomena and effects in areas of physics of an atomic nucleus and the particles, the condensed condition of substance, ecology, experimental, theoretical and computer methods of researches in this area; prospects of development of branch; systems and methods of theoretical estimations, calculations and designing in the field of nuclear physics and nuclear technologies; the basic process equipment of a jaderno-physical complex and principles of its work; mathematical methods of the analysis of the phenomena, their use at designing of the physical equipment; analytical and numerical methods for the analysis of mathematical models; modern computer aids, communications and communication; methods of researches, designing and carrying out of experimental works.
